My Feeding Essentials ♡
Feeding became one of the biggest parts of my postpartum routine. Since my breast milk was not enough, I had to top up with formula early on. These are the products that slowly became my little feeding system — bottles, sterilizing, warming milk, preparing formula, and making night feeds feel a little less overwhelming.
Philips Avent glass bottle starter set
At first, I was using disposable syringes for top-up feeds because my breast milk was not enough, but it quickly became impractical and expensive for daily use. Once feeding became part of our everyday routine, I needed something more reliable, easier to manage, and less stressful during exhausting newborn days.
This Philips Avent glass bottle set honestly made formula feeding feel much easier. What I loved most was that it came with 5 bottles in different sizes, 2 pacifiers, and a cleaning brush, which meant I wasn’t constantly rushing to wash the same bottle after every feed.
I was initially worried glass bottles would feel heavy, but these actually felt surprisingly lightweight, comfortable to hold, and much better than plastic for everyday use.

Philips Avent sterilizer & dryer
Boiling bottles in hard water started leaving calcium marks, and washing bottles repeatedly felt exhausting during already tiring newborn days.
This became a real game changer because I could sterilize bottles quickly and keep them inside until the next feed.

Momcozy all-in-one cleaner
If someone wants an even more hands-free setup from the beginning, this looks like one of the most convenient options.
It washes, sterilizes, and dries bottles automatically — helpful if you are formula feeding, pumping, or washing bottles often.

Ready-made BEBA milk
In the very beginning, ready-made milk honestly felt like survival mode support because it required almost no preparation.
It helped during exhausting nights, recovery days, and moments when I simply needed something quick while still trying to breastfeed.

Nestlé BEBA Supreme Pro 1 powder
Ready-made milk helped first, but powder became more practical for everyday feeding once formula became part of our daily routine.
One box finished in about two weeks for us, so buying more than one at a time made much more sense.

The kettle that completed my feeding station
Once I moved to formula powder, this kettle became part of my daily routine. I used it to boil baby water, let it cool slightly, and prepare formula directly in the bottle.
Together with formula powder and the bottle warmer, it became part of my little bedside feeding station.

Philips Avent bottle warmer
The kettle was for boiling water, but the warmer had a different purpose. I used it first for ready-made milk and later for refrigerated or frozen breast milk.
I liked that I didn’t need to guess the temperature. It warmed milk gently, which made sleepy night feeds feel less stressful.

BEBELUX portable bottle warmer
There were days when we had appointments, long drives, or simply needed to leave the house during feeding time. One thing I quickly realized is that feeding a baby outside your normal home setup feels very different from feeding at home.
A portable bottle warmer can make those situations much easier because you don’t need to search for hot water or rely on cafés and restaurants. For parents who travel often, formula feed, pump, or carry breast milk on the go, it can become one of those products that quietly reduces stress.
I personally think this is more of a convenience product than a newborn essential, but for frequent travel, outings, or long car rides, it can make feeding much more manageable.
VIEW PORTABLE WARMER →If your baby struggles with gas, digestion discomfort, or colic symptoms, it may be worth discussing hydrolyzed formula options with your pediatrician. Some babies tolerate them much better, but every baby responds differently, so finding the right fit can take time.
